One chapter doesn't tell the whole story.

Let's make sense of yours.

Open book on a wooden table with chapter 1 titled "Where do we begin?" next to a pen, a closed notebook, a cup of coffee on a wooden coaster, a small book, and a vase with dried flowers, sunlight filtering through curtains in the background.

A Little About Me

I've worked with teens who had been labelled difficult long before anyone understood what they'd been through.

I've supported people rebuilding after addiction, navigating serious mental illness, healing from trauma, and trying to move forward after difficult chapters in their lives.

Those experiences have shaped the way I see people. They remind me every day that understanding someone is often the first step toward meaningful change.

That's the perspective I bring into every session.

A woman with long wavy hair, wearing a light-colored turtleneck sweater and black pants with white pinstripes, sitting on a dark brown chair in an indoor setting with bulletin boards and magazines or pamphlets on the wall behind her, smiling at the camera.

What I Believe

One chapter doesn't tell the whole story.

People deserve to be understood before they are judged.

Our experiences shape us, but they don't tell us everything about who we are.

Understanding the "why" behind our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours creates space for change.

The ways we learn to cope often make sense in the context of what we've lived through. Therapy can help us understand those patterns and build healthier ones when they're no longer serving us.

Every story is different.

No two people arrive at therapy for the same reasons.

These are some of the areas I commonly support. If your experience isn't listed, that doesn't mean we can't work through it together.
